Welcome To My Blog!

Hi everyone! I was sitting around today thinking to myself about how I write my reviews, post my wrap-ups, hauls & everything on Instagram, Twitter & Goodreads and thought it would be a good idea to start a blog! I’ve tried to blog a couple times before and it failed miserably, but I’m really determined to do it this time and considering I’ll be moving in a week & I’m not sure when I’m going to have a job again- I thought this could come in handy to pass the time.

I read mostly YA fiction, with a special love for contemporary & sci-fi fantasy. Since October of 2016, I’ve also made a decision to read mostly, if not exclusively diverse books- meaning books by and/or about people of colour, native people, LGBTQIAP+ people, disabled people, etc. This means that most, if not all of the books you see on this blog will be diverse.

I’ll be posting reviews, monthly wrap-ups, book hauls (if I remember to keep count), random recommendation posts and some discussion posts as well! I’m really keen to get into blogging so feel free to give me any tips along the way & thanks so much if you decide to follow my blog!

    Hi T!! Welcome to the blogasphere!! Super happy to see this blog in existence! I love how you handle your instagram, and I’m sure you will do the same with this blog. Super excited to see the future of it.
    Since I wish someone had told me this when I started, I’m going to give you this advice now: take it one day at a time, and don’t try to do too much. I know I did, and it ended in me never having time, not reading and ultimately hating everything I did. Take your time to get things right, and take everything at a pace…it will work best when you’re not constantly burning yourself out!

      Hi Sam! Thanks so much for commenting & thank you for your tip! I’ve actually tried to blog before & it didn’t work out for the exact reasons you mentioned, so I’m definitely just going with the flow & will see where it takes me. Thank you again, and I hope you enjoy my content! xxx

    If you don’t already know about it, I recommend downloading the “WordPress Reader” app. It makes it really easy to read/like/comment on other people’s posts, straight from your phone. You can also make new posts with it, but I prefer using the computer for that.

    Also, don’t feel like you have to request and review lots of arcs to have a successful blog. Just go at your own pace, do your own thing & be really passionate about it!
